40th US Sailboat Show Opens to Waiting Crowds
October 8, 2009
Annapolis, MD- The first day of the 40th US Sailboat Show welcomed eager crowds as lines formed well before the ten o'clock opening. Thursday is traditionally the day reserved for press, trade and VIP. If the crowds today are any indication of what the weekend will bring- it could be a sign that sailors are feeling the economic thaw.
The largest display at the show is claimed by Beneteau with nine models at their dock. As the number one brand worldwide- you wouldn't expect any less. Beneteau is especially proud of some of the energy efficiency features they are premiering on the 2010 models. LED lighting is standard for running lights, cabin lights and coming soon a new two stage compressor on refridgeration units that save on power consumption. A clear example of how Beneteau leads the market in innovation.
If you're in Annapolis for the show stop by dock F2 and see the new 2010 models ask for Karma Yacht Sales when you arrive.
